If you want answers to questions like…
What should I include in my birth plan?
How will I know that labour has started?
Should I consider upright birthing?
Should I bank my baby’s stem cells?
What are my pain relief options?
How can I be a supportive birth partner?
Our antenatal courses will give you evidence-based information you can use to make safer, healthier choices for your pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
What does evidence-led mean?
At The Parents Class, we’re passionate about making sure you feel confident about making informed choices when it comes to your pregnancy and birth journey. That’s why our courses are developed by Cass McNamara, from BBC Scotland’s “Ask the Midwife”, and are based on the latest research and best practices in maternity care.
“This is my second time round of being a mum and I felt like I was really uneducated the first time. So this time around was all about learning, embracing it and getting questions answered.” ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Why are our teachers midwives?
Our antenatal classes are designed with, and delivered by, NMC registered midwives who have current, first-hand experience of supporting thousands of women through pregnancy, labour and the early days of parenting.
By drawing on their valuable expertise, we’ve formulated courses intended to equip you with up-to-date, real world information about all things antenatal. You could not be in safer or more qualified hands.
Plus, the antenatal classes themselves are delivered in elegant, relaxed spaces, providing you with a comfortable and stimulating learning environment.
“I genuinely think the course was perfect and that our teacher, Jen, was incredibly informed, approachable and super friendly. She made the experience perfect for us. I would recommend!!” ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Jen, our Brighton and Lewes antenatal teacher. Midwife of 16 years.
