Jen is a practising midwife and senior clinician, with over 16 years of experience in healthcare. Although Jen is currently based at University Hospital Sussex, she has also been a Midwife Advisor with Ashford and St Peter’s NHS Foundation Trust and a midwife at Surrey and Sussex NHS Healthcare Trust. She is currently studying for an MSc in Perinatal Mental Health at Sheffield Hallam University.
Jessica Quaroni

Jessica has been a practising midwife for 13 years and a qualified nurse for 19 years. Having spent 11 years at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, Jessica is now based at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust as a Fetal Wellbeing Midwife, focused on the development and utilisation of both clinical and educational support. She has delivered midwifery care in both the UK and Australia, and won a Nightingale award in 2019 for quality of patient care.
Clarissa Battaglino
Fulham
After qualifying as a midwife in 2015, Clarissa worked at Walsall Manor Hospital before transferring to University College London Hospitals in 2017. She has since worked in the Fetal Medicine Unit at UCLH, where she helps to diagnose and treat potential complications that may arise during pregnancy through antenatal screening. Clarissa has volunteered as a midwife in both Bangladesh and Peru.
Kleio Vourou
South Kensington & Kensal Rise
Kleio is a practising midwife with over 17 years of experience. For the last 15 years Kleio has worked in The Kensington Wing and was the lead midwife there for the Antenatal Clinics/Day Assessment Unit between 2013 and 2017. Before that Kleio worked as a reflexologist for private maternity services in both Greece and the UK, specialising in pregnancy, induction of labour and fertility.
Petra Nhau

Petra has 18 years experience as a midwife, who has worked extensively in labour ward settings, providing hands-on support to countless women during childbirth, including managing complications with her wealth of expertise
Clara Calvete
Woking & Chertsey
Clara is a Senior Lecturer in Nursing & Midwifery at the University of East London. After qualifying as a midwife in 2008, Clara worked in Barts Health NHS Trust where she went on to qualify as a Research Midwife and Nurse. From there Clara worked in University College London Hospital before spending over a decade as a Senior Midwife in Ashford & St. Peter’s NHS Trust.
